Statement from Bernie Ripoll on Promotion to
Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasurer

I am honoured and privileged to be appointed as Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasurer by the Prime Minister.

I am keen to serve and utilise the experience I have gained through the past 14 years as a member of the House of Representatives in my electorate of Oxley.

I look forward to continuing the close working relationship I have developed with Deputy Prime Minister and Treasurer Wayne Swan and Assistant Treasurer David Bradbury during my time as Chair of Parliamentary Joint Committee on Corporations and Financial Services.
